1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and TurboVoice ("TurboVoice," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our websites, applications, dashboards, and related services, including the TurboVoice speech-to-text translation and the document translation service delivered through Google Chat app integrations (collectively, the "Services").
If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and access
- You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the Services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, making a payment, or submitting files.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is compromised, misused, or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Customer content and permitted use
"Customer Content" means audio, video, documents, chat messages, metadata, prompts, instructions, transcripts, subtitles, translations, and any other material that you upload, submit, transmit, or ask us to process through the Services.
- You keep ownership of Customer Content, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the Services.
- You grant TurboVoice a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transcode, analyze, and transform Customer Content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, consents, and permissions to submit Customer Content to us.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or violates privacy, confidentiality, export, or data-protection obligations.
4. Data handling, model use, and file retention
We take privacy seriously. We do not use Customer Content to train, fine-tune, or improve our machine learning models, whether manually or automatically.
Files uploaded to the Services are processed only to provide the requested transcription, translation, subtitle generation, or document translation output. Unless a different retention period is required by law, files and associated artifacts are automatically deleted from our active systems within 30 days after upload or creation.
- You may delete files earlier through the product workflow, where available.
- Backups, logs, and security systems may retain limited data for a short period before automatic rotation or deletion.
- We may retain limited records needed for billing, fraud prevention, compliance, or dispute resolution, even after file deletion.
5. Service description
The speech-to-text translation may include transcription, translation, timestamps, subtitle files such as SRT or VTT, speaker separation, export tools, and related workflows for audio and video files.
The Google Chat app service may include document upload, translation, and delivery of translated outputs inside or alongside chat-based workflows. Those interactions may also be subject to Google’s applicable terms and policies.
We may change, add, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular model, workflow, language pair, file format, or integration will always be available.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or deceptive purposes;
- attempt to reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the Services or underlying models;
- upload malware, exploit code, or malicious links;
- interfere with access, security, or system integrity;
- use the Services to process content that infringes privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or confidentiality rights of others;
- circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls;
- resell or white-label the Services unless expressly authorized by us in writing.
7. Fees, credits, subscriptions, and refunds
- Some features may be free, credit-based, usage-based, or subscription-based.
- Prices, credit values, consumption rules, and billing intervals will be shown at checkout or in the product interface.
- You authorize us and our payment processors to charge applicable fees, taxes, and transaction costs.
- Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by us in writing, fees are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing for future purchases with reasonable notice where required.
8. Third-party services
The Services may rely on third-party infrastructure, hosting, storage, AI models, communication tools, and payment processors. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms, including Google's terms for the Google Chat app environment.
9. Intellectual property
TurboVoice and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, user interface elements, logos, designs, workflows, and documentation, except for Customer Content and other materials you own.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your internal business or personal translation and transcription needs.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
AI-generated transcripts and translations may contain errors, omissions, misattributions, or formatting issues. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for business, legal, medical, academic, or other high-stakes uses.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free outputs, or that any translation will be linguistically perfect.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurboVoice will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TurboVoice, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and service providers from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or used the Services in a way that could cause harm.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification, will survive termination.
14. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by posting the updated Terms on this page or by displaying a notice in the product.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TurboVoice's operating company is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.
